Kevin Kline retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2019, serving as the Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge at the New Haven FBI Field Office.  Over his almost 30-year career, Kevin served in a variety of leadership positions involving efforts related to National Security, Crisis Management, Cyber Intrusions, Threat Intelligence, Criminal Enterprises, and Security.  As a member of the Senior Executive Service, Kevin was responsible for the assessment and inspection of FBI field offices, Legal Attaches, and the FBI’s programs and performance around the world.  In this role he gained significant experience in Internal Investigations, Organizational Assessment and Program Evaluation, and Insider Threat matters.  During his career, Kevin obtained significant international experience working with foreign intelligence and law enforcement agencies in over 30 countries, to include significant experience as the FBI’s On Scene Commander for all FBI personnel and responsibilities in Afghanistan.

Kevin has significant experience in leading the response to critical incidents around the country and the world, and has taught extensively on these and related topics.

Among his various awards and recognition’s, Kevin was awarded the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence in Counterterrorism in 2006.  A native of Buffalo, New York, Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Canisius College and his Juris Doctorate from The Albany Law School of Union University.  Kevin currently maintains a Top-Secret Security Clearance and resides in Ivoryton, Connecticut.
